Crystalline

5 paintings, 2009–2015

Crystalline examines perception under pressure, presenting consciousness as faceted, ordered, and prone to fracture. Drawing from microscopic structures and digital color systems, intersecting planes of synthetic color suggest systems that appear coherent while actively splintering. The paintings hold structure and rupture in tension, proposing fragmentation not as collapse, but as a persistent condition through which contemporary experience is organized.
